FAQ
Facts and Questions
Including but not limited to actual answers, general information and rambling.
Yes, FAQ normally means Frequently Asked Questions. I don’t get frequent questions, so I ignored that. Besides, Facts, info, hypothetical questions and therefore possible answers wouldn’t look nice in the menu.

Do you sell your art?
Indeed.
I have not set up a shop yet, but most of my pieces in the Gallery is available, with a few exceptions. I’m still figuring this whole art-business out, but you’re more than welcome to reach out.
What do you offer?
- Limited Edition (LE): Only a set number of prints will be made available.
- Open Edition (OE): No limit of prints for however long I sell them.
- Standard ISO-216 sizes: A5, A4, A3 and A2. I make pieces in other formats too, though not as often.
- Only LE prints will be numbered, while all prints will be signed.

Can I order custom art if I ask politely?
Politeness will get you far. I can’t promise anything due to time constraints, but I’m open to it.
Exposure as compensation?
Haha! No.
Experience
What got you into art?
I started hobbying it 17-ish years ago. I haven’t loved art since I was 2. Instead, after quitting a sport that had occupied my life for 8 years, I needed something new to be good at. My big sister was great at drawing and therefore I wanted to be better than her (duh). And here we are – Whimsical, I know.
Did you go to art school?
Nope. I entertained the thought once, but it was just a hobby at that time. It wasn’t until 2019 that I started to think of art as a career and by that time the confidence wasn’t really there anyway.
So it’s been a cobble-stoned path of stubborness and soaking up as much knowledge as I could through the generosity of others. YouTube, books and instagram offers a plethora of information, guides and artist who teaches you what they know.
Any notable clients though?
I’d like to think anyone who has supported me over the years with encouragement or simply asking about it is highly notable. Alas, no big corporations or “famous people” as clients yet. I’ll put that on the to-do-list.
Not much of credibility it seems?
I’ll have you know that there’s at least… 20 people who can vouch for me. If that’s not impressive I don’t know what to tell you.
We like questions here – truly.

Tools
What tools are you using?
It’s a bunch depending on the purpose. For Digital work:
- Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 PT + EK Remote
- Wacom Pro Pen 2 with Felt nibs
- Adobe Photoshop + Adobe Illustrator (on occasion)
- iPad Pro 12.9″, 5th Gen + the Apple Pencil, 2nd Gen
- ProCreate
...how about REAL traditional art tools?
I know, I know – digital art isn’t “real” art… silly goose:
- Sketchbooks from Seawhite of Brighton (ECO CupCycling is a gem)
- Sakura Pigma Micron Fineliners
- Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Brush
How do you print your work?
I wake my printer up, bribe it with some lovely fine art paper and hope for the best.
Pondering
Can I use your art as reference/inspiration?
Yes to both. But, som friendly advice:
- Aim to use references of real people or objects. Artists can intentionally break the “rules” or just make mistakes (we are indeed mortal). You therefore run the risk of adopting those mistakes if you don’t spot them nor understand them (been there).
- Use a myriad of references – it provides you with all the nuances.
- Tracing to learn/understand/practice is fine. Plagiarism (tracing + monetizing + taking credit) is not – Copyright laws and all that.
What about reposting?
You can ask and maybe I’ll oblige. Can’t stop you really and maybe you don’t have a cricket as your conscience. Ergo: If I haven’t given you expressed permission then you shouldn’t.
AI is the future. You're on that train, right?
I’m not a fan of trains. People are so lawless today you can’t even enjoy the quiet section without someone going YOLO on you and have their phone on speaker.
No. I’m one of those who likes what I like – and I like my process.
For example, I enjoy painting the hair of a character;
- building up layers of dark-, mid- and light tones
- painting sections of hair to be soft and/or textured
- painting individual strands of hair to add volume or realism
- blending in purple/blue/green with the beige, light yellow, grey hues to give that impression of blonde hair
- making and painting all of the above choices myself
I enjoy improving and practicing my observational skills when looking at photos – what am I looking at and what could I do to make my characters more realistic? That process might take 3 hours or it might take 15 and I’m ok with that.
So, if you’re here looking for a pro-vs-anti-AI-debate or AI generated images – Nope.
Can I find your work as NFTs?
Non Functional Translation? I jest. I do know what it means – something with mushrooms.
I have not minted any of my work into NFTs, nor will I. It’s not for me – I make physical pieces you can hang on your wall. If you do see something of mine on the block chain – it wasn’t me.
